Brendan Veitch works under Director David Willder and in December 2017, was promoted to Senior Accountant. Gaining his Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Ballarat, Brendan spent time in Melbourne before joining WMC Accounting in early 2014. A fully qualified CPA, Brendan holds Xero certification, is Reckon One certified and is an Intuit QuickBooks certified pro-advisor.
Brendan specialises in individual income tax returns, trust tax returns and company tax returns. He has major clients in the transport, agriculture and farming industries and has a wealth of expertise in the business and compliance issues specific to these industries. He has particularly interested in helping start-up businesses achieve their goals from the outset of business life, choosing business structures to suit their individual needs, adopting policies to build a sustainable business and ensuring reporting obligations are handled with ease.
Brendan is the Secretary of River's Gift and has spent countless hours fundraising to help find a preventative cure and raise SIDS awareness. Reaching his personal goal of raising $10,000 to this worthy cause, Brendan has achieved many personal milestones with River's Gift, as he continues to give back to his community.
Serving on the Board of the Leopold Community Centre has broadened Brendan's community ties and allows him to utilise his accounting expertise in his role as Treasurer. He also participates in the Australian Red Cross Red25 blood donation in the workplace initiative, donating blood as part of the WMC Red25 group.
