Marcus See, Senior Accountant

Marcus joined WMC Accounting as a graduate accountant in September 2016, progressing through to the role of accountant after proving himself a valued member of the accounting team.  He earned his Bachelor of Commerce from Deakin University and will commence post tertiary study in 2019. He is certified in Intuit and Xero, and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team from his involvement at management level in the FMCG sector.

Working in Director John Cleary's team, Marcus has been exposed to accounting for small to medium businesses, preparation of BAS, Financial Statements, Taxable Annual Payment Reports, and PAYG Payment Summaries. He spent the early stages of his accounting career focusing on accounting software programs, reconciling bank statements and preparing payroll, which has given him the foundations to providing faithful accounting information for the preparation of compliance work.

Marcus has clients operating in the tourism, hospitality, transport, retail and trades industries and is available to assist with a range of compliance matters and cloud accounting solutions.

Marcus is involved with his community through fundraising activities for the Royal Children's Hospital, and EarthHour, which is the biggest movement for climate change in the world.
